May 2, 2022 (New York) – Women-founded/co-founded companies based in New York are invited to submit applications for the annual TiE New York Pitch Competition between now and May 31. 

The competition gives these businesses an opportunity to pitch their companies for investment opportunities to interested angel investors and venture capitalists. The company and its founder(s) will also receive access to mentors and the TiE NY network of experienced entrepreneurs, business leaders, and more. 

TiE New York, in partnership with TiE Women, will host the local pitch competition on July 29, 2022. The top investment of the New York competition will represent the chapter at TiE Women’s Global Pitch Competition in Dubai in October 2022 for a chance to win $100,000 in prizes.

Businesses submitting applications must show its woman founder/co-founder owns at least 33% percent of the equity in the company and has been in business for less than 7 years only (date of registration of company not earlier than Jan 1, 2015).

Applicants are judged on a variety of criteria including competitive advantage, technology viability, global market opportunity and more.
