Charter Member Events
FIRST TUESDAY
Charter Member Events consist of thoughtfully curated events with leading corporations and business leaders.
To encourage community and networking, TiE NY provides its Charter Members multiple engagement opportunities throughout the year to give back to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Open Mic Nights
SECOND TUESDAY
TiE New York’s monthly Open Mic Nights is the chapter’s flagship event focused on networking and pitching for New York’s entrepreneur ecosystem. Held on the second Tuesday of every month, Open Mic Night (OMN) allows entrepreneurs to meet and connect with fellow founders and meet investors, venture capitalists, and business leaders to introduce and grow their network and ventures.
Mentoring Program
THIRD TUESDAY
Our mentoring program provides one-on-one guidance to budding entrepreneurs by assessing their needs and matching them with TiE Charter Members who are seasoned entrepreneurs, executives and functional experts across different industries.

Pitch Competition
The TiE New York Pitch Competition allows founders to pitch to a room full of investors and other entrepreneurs. The TiE NY Pitch Competition in the context of the chapter’s Angel Investing program, TiE New York Angels.
TiE New York typically hosts 2 pitch competition events in a given year, one is TIE women pitch competition and other one is general pitch competition.
TiE New York Angels Showcases
TiE New York Angels is a part of the TiE Global Angels network. The local angel investment network empowers startups in early-stage and are seeking Seed or Series A funding. Built with active investors, TiE New York Angels has invested in many startups across New York and partnered in global investments.

TiE University
TiE New York’s participation in TiE University supports its mission to invest in and provide access to today’s innovators who are tomorrow’s disruptors right here in New York. Along with TiE New York’s mentoring and funding opportunities, the local chapter’s participation in TiE University allows us to expand the network and opportunities globally for university entrepreneurs.

The Mission of TiE Women is to provide a platform of sustainable and easy-to-adapt programming built on our six pillars of Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space and Community.
